So last week Taylor's preschool class had their pictures taken by one of the mom's (who happens to be Taylors best friend Kate's mom and a friend in the ward) and they turned out awesome!! It has really started to sink in that she is growing up so fast and time is just flying by. I have started the process of getting her registered for kindergarten already and I think I might just have heart failure!!! I REMEMBER KINDERGARTEN! How can my baby be going into Kindergarten!?!?So, thanks Steph for taking great pics of this time in my daughter's life! Check out her website:

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) – A semi truck carrying a chemical overturned on an I-15, closing it as crews cleaned up the mess. UHP says a truck took the turn at the 2100S exit too fast and rolled over. The truck was carrying potassium hydochlorate, a chemical used in industrial cleaners. The spill is not affecting any businesses in the area, but the exit ramp at 2100 S is closed to northbound traffic. Police say the driver sustained minor injuries in the crash. Crews are on scene cleaning up the accident.Ok, first off this ISN'T Chris. However, it IS his company AND his truck! Ummm....OUCH!
James Leonard CooperMay 6, 1925 – January 1, 2009James Leonard Cooper, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away January 1, 2009 in Salt Lake City as a result of parathyroid cancer. Jim was born on May 6, 1925 in Monticello, Illinois to James J and Velma Maude Haneline Cooper. As a youth, he worked as a farmhand and attended more than a dozen different schools across the Midwest. He enlisted in the Navy during World War II, where he served as a pharmacist’s mate aboard the USS Montour in the Pacific theater. After the war, he studied at Wabash College and began a distinguished career in accounting. He also excelled at sport, becoming the Iowa state champion in handball. His career in the trucking industry took him many places and culminated with his service as comptroller of Sun Trucking in North Carolina. He worked faithfully and tirelessly in many positions in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including nine years of service as a bishop in Charlotte and Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Jim was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Esther Mae Reed Cooper; three sons, James M. (Mary Lou) of Roland, Iowa, William E. of Overland Park, Kansas and Robert L. of Grimes, Iowa; three daughters, Susan K. (Brian) Connolly of Des Moines, Iowa, Cynthia L. Huch of Salt Lake City and Sandra L. (Bob Johengen) Ingersoll of North Salt Lake; 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday January 5, 2009 at 12 Noon at the Union Fort 4th ward located at 6710 South 1300 East with arrangements made by the Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home. Interment will be at Utah Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bluffdale, Utah.
