So this is a hard one for me...we have had a pretty crazy couple of days. Our basement flooded for the second time in 12 months. Only this time it was much worse. We had a few days of pretty consistent rain and then got a microburst storm that dumped a large amount of water very quickly. Well seeing as things hadn't been resolved from the last time, we shouldn't have been so surprised. But we were. The worst part is that this time there was quite a bit of our stuff that got pretty soaked and potentially
ruined. I've been trying to look at this with some shred of positivity and decided that at least it's forcing me to declutter! Right?! Ok. It was worth a try. It's just such a helpless and frustrating feeling that you're left with as you're trying to clean up a potentially never ending mess! Oh well. It's just stuff, right? This too shall pass.
